On a continuous casting machine, the lubrication points include those in the lubrication zone of the upper platform, the mold lubrication zone, and the lubrication zone of the discharge area. Assuming there are 2600 lubrication points that require maintenance by 3 to 5 people, it is difficult to monitor whether each lubrication point is properly lubricated. If a lubrication point leaks oil, the lubrication pump station will continue to pressurize and dispense lubricant, resulting in wasted grease.
